Six-Month Job Offer Guarantee
A clear explanation of eligibility, participation requirements, qualifying job offers, and how to submit a claim.
Last updated: August 3, 2026
1.Purpose of the guarantee
JobsLadder's Six-Month Job Offer Guarantee is designed to support customers who participate consistently in an eligible six-month plan but do not receive a qualifying job offer during the completed service period.
The guarantee is not a promise of employment from a particular employer, at a particular salary, or by a particular date. Hiring decisions remain with employers.
When all eligibility and participation requirements are satisfied, an approved claim results in a refund of the eligible JobsLadder plan fee actually paid.
2.Eligible plans
The following plans may be eligible:
- Plus Plan
- Advanced Plan
- Pro Plan
The plan must have been purchased directly through an authorized JobsLadder checkout and must display guarantee eligibility at the time of purchase.
Add-ons, unrelated services, third-party charges, and services not specifically marked as eligible are not included in the guarantee refund.
3.Participation requirements
To remain eligible, the customer must:
- Complete onboarding within seven calendar days after receiving account access, unless JobsLadder approves an extension
- Provide accurate and complete professional, educational, employment, and work-authorization information
- Upload or approve the resume and application information required for the selected plan
- Agree to realistic target roles, locations, work arrangements, and compensation criteria during onboarding
- Allow the approved application campaign to operate throughout the six-month service period
- Respond to time-sensitive JobsLadder requests within two business days when reasonably possible
- Review and complete reasonable actions shown in the JobsLadder workspace
- Attend scheduled interviews or promptly request rescheduling
- Communicate material changes that affect availability, work authorization, location, or target criteria
- Avoid knowingly providing false, incomplete, or misleading information to JobsLadder or employers
- Remain reasonably available to consider qualifying opportunities during the service period
JobsLadder displays the customer's guarantee status and any incomplete requirements in the authenticated workspace wherever technically practical.
4.Campaign criteria
The guarantee applies to the approved search criteria recorded during onboarding.
These may include:
- Target role families
- Seniority level
- Preferred locations
- Remote, hybrid, or on-site preferences
- Employment type
- Minimum compensation expectations
- Work-authorization requirements
- Employer exclusions
- Industry preferences
Customers may request reasonable changes.
A major change in role, seniority, location, compensation, or work authorization may require a revised campaign strategy. JobsLadder may extend or restart the applicable guarantee period when a substantial change materially alters the original search.
Any change to the guarantee timeline is shown clearly in the customer's workspace.
5.Qualifying job offer
A qualifying job offer means a genuine written offer from an independent employer for employment or contract work that materially matches the approved search criteria.
The offer should reasonably align with:
- An approved role or closely related role
- The approved seniority level
- The approved location or work arrangement
- The agreed employment type
- The minimum compensation criteria recorded during onboarding
- The customer's stated work-authorization status
A written offer that satisfies these criteria counts as a qualifying offer even if the customer chooses not to accept it.
An offer that is rescinded before acceptance for reasons unrelated to the customer's conduct or information will not normally be treated as a completed qualifying offer.
An offer already received before the JobsLadder plan began does not count toward the guarantee.
6.Plan pauses
A customer may request a temporary pause for travel, health, family obligations, work-authorization changes, or another reasonable circumstance.
An approved pause extends the service and guarantee end date by the length of the pause.
The revised end date is visible in the customer's JobsLadder workspace.
Long or repeated pauses may require a campaign review before work resumes.
7.When the guarantee is satisfied
The guarantee is considered satisfied when the customer receives a qualifying job offer during the active service period.
This applies whether the opportunity was:
- Identified through JobsLadder
- Identified through the customer's own search
- Introduced by a recruiter
- Introduced through a referral
- Sourced through another legitimate channel
The purpose of the guarantee is the job-offer outcome, not exclusive attribution to one application source.
8.Circumstances that may affect eligibility
A claim may not qualify when:
- Required onboarding was not completed
- The customer did not provide the information needed to operate the campaign
- The campaign remained paused for a substantial part of the service period without an approved extension
- The customer repeatedly did not respond to time-sensitive requests
- Interviews were repeatedly missed without reasonable notice
- Materially inaccurate information was supplied
- The customer became legally unable or unavailable to work in the approved market
- The customer restricted the search so substantially that the approved campaign could not reasonably operate
- A qualifying written offer was received during the service period
- The claim was submitted outside the published claim window
JobsLadder does not use these requirements to deny claims automatically. Every claim is reviewed against the customer's complete account history.
9.How to submit a claim
A guarantee claim may be submitted after the customer's six-month service end date.
The claim must be submitted within 14 calendar days after that end date.
Email: support@jobsladder.org
Include:
- The customer's full name
- The JobsLadder account email
- The order number
- The plan purchased
- Confirmation that the service period has ended
- Any information the customer believes is relevant to the review
JobsLadder also provides a guarantee-claim form inside the authenticated account where technically practical.
10.Claim review
JobsLadder will review:
- The plan purchase
- The service start and end dates
- Onboarding completion
- Campaign participation
- Account activity
- Recorded target criteria
- Interview and offer records
- Approved pauses or extensions
- Any information supplied with the claim
JobsLadder will provide a written decision after reviewing the complete claim.
Where additional information is needed, the customer will be given a reasonable opportunity to provide it.
11.Approved guarantee refunds
An approved claim results in a refund of the eligible JobsLadder plan fee actually paid.
The refund will be initiated through the original payment method.
The guarantee does not provide an amount greater than the eligible plan fee paid and does not reimburse unrelated expenses, lost income, travel expenses, or third-party services.
12.Relationship to the Refund Policy
The standard Refund Policy applies to cancellations, billing errors, service issues, and requests made before the guarantee claim period.
The Six-Month Job Offer Guarantee applies only after an eligible customer completes the applicable service period and claim requirements.
13.Questions
Questions about guarantee eligibility may be sent to support@jobsladder.org.
Customers should review their guarantee status in the JobsLadder workspace and contact the support team when a requirement or timeline appears incorrect.
